Africa Contracts & Equipment Limited was established in 1998 with the objective of providing technical and equipment support services to the mining sector of the economy and it is headquartered in Accra (#8, Iceberg lane, Motorway Industrial Area) with project offices in Takoradi, Tarkwa, Abidjan and Lagos.

The company acquired graders, roller compactors, excavators, heavy-duty dump trucks, pay loaders and bulldozers for deployment in the mineral extraction establishments in Western Region.

The company has maintained its position in service provision by strict adherence to maintenance schedules for equipment; reliable parts supply sources, and employs highly trained personnel in management and operations.

Africa Contracts & Equipment, in year 2000 diversified its operations to include the specialized field of dredging and allied services by acquiring state of the art mobile dredging equipment, EKS Aquifer mapping equipment and ground water membrane filtration systems and trained personnel for operations and maintenance.

Two of these mobile dredges have been in operation since May 2000 in the Ivory Coast and Nigeria and have performed creditably with the support of the technical staff.
